Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Account Manager to join our SOC team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and growing current accounts, as well as qualifying and cultivating new opportunities through research and relationship-building.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the designated company representative for a large portfolio of client accounts, effectively responding to client needs and resolving staffing issues.
- Collaborate with business development leads, capture managers, and subject matter experts to develop strategy and manage proposal artifacts.
- Work closely with recruiters to convey client requirements and specifications, establish key performance metrics, and deploy effective recruitment techniques.
- Research and develop new account opportunities through understanding of the current needs of the local market, establishing relationships with new account prospects, and utilizing effective selling techniques.
- Negotiate contracts and bill rates with clients.
- Update and maintain client and requisition information in BOND, and record all sales activity in CRM.
- A strong sales acumen and understanding of the local/regional federal staffing business environment.
- Skilled relationship builder, particularly with key-decision-makers and C-level executives, with excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a high-stress, rapid-paced environment, with a self-starter mentality and ability to manage own and team's performance.
- Expertise in volume hiring and working knowledge of contemporary and compliant recruitment practices/processes.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
- 5+ years in the federal staffing industry.
