  • Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing materials and products to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers to establish design tolerances and develop quality control procedures.
  • Inspect and approve materials and products by verifying specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting unacceptable materials.
  • Conduct final and in-process inspections of components and prototype parts using precision equipment such as FARO Arm and various gauges.
  • Review drawing details for accurate documentation of specifications and maintain calibration of gages.
  • Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work and waste, and inputting data into quality databases.

Requirements:
  • Five (5) + years of experience working in a precision manufacturing environment operating measuring equipment.
  • Ability to read blueprints and understand product specifications and requirements.
  • Intimate knowledge of MS Office and ISO 9001.
  • Ability to measure close tolerances and possess a trained eye for detail.
  • High school diploma and experience with quality control techniques such as Six Sigma.
  • Experience with measuring devices such as meters, gauges, computers, calipers, and other measuring instruments.
  • Written and verbal communication skills, basic math skills, attention to detail, and analytic skills.
  • Hand/eye coordination, blueprint reading, and ability to work in a team environment.
