A position as a Sales Design Consultant with Budget Blinds involves engaging with clients to showcase our exquisite window coverings and assisting them in selecting the ideal solutions for their residences. We prioritize a pressure-free, consultative sales approach that equips you with the necessary tools and insights for success. Once a customer places an order, our skilled installers ensure a seamless installation process.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct 3 to 4 in-home consultations daily.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and expert design recommendations.
- Accurately measure windows and process product orders.
- Coordinate job details with installation teams.
- Utilize a web-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system for pricing and sales tracking.
- Respond promptly to communications via the provided business phone and equipment.
- Follow up on all leads and pending sales until closure.
- Stay informed about current trends in window treatments and product updates.
- Participate in weekly sales meetings and ongoing training sessions.
- Preferred: 2 years of sales experience.
- Must possess an excellent driving record and pass background and drug screenings.
- Familiarity with window coverings, including drapery, is advantageous.
- Strong written communication skills are essential.
- Proficient in mathematics.
- Skilled in MS Office and other web-based tools (e.g., Dropbox).
- Experience with CRM systems is highly preferred.
- Ability to climb stairs and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Capability to measure overhead while using a step-ladder.
- Previous invoicing experience is beneficial.
- Must demonstrate honesty, respect, and a service-oriented mindset.
