Client Development Executive

At Cox Communications, we're seeking a skilled Client Development Executive to drive new account acquisition and development, as well as upselling and cross-selling opportunities with existing clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify new prospects in assigned territory and collect information about their businesses to prepare for sales calls.
  • Develop and maintain sales growth plans, communicating with prospective customers to explore mutually beneficial objectives.
  • Meet with prospective customers to assess their business needs and qualify the prospect, collaborating with internal sales support and service delivery teams.
  • Negotiate pricing, products, and promotions with new customers and verify that service pricing reflects pricing structures set at the corporate level.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a successful track record meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Proficiency using Windows-based PCs, Microsoft Office, and a CRM customer relationship management tool.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Successful experience with B2B outside sales with quotas, telecommunications, technology, or cloud sales experience.
  • Field sales, pipeline development, new lead generation, and prospecting experience.

Cox Communications offers a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $61,300.00 per year, and an annual incentive/commission target of $72,000.00. Additionally, employees are eligible for benefits such as health care insurance, retirement planning, and paid days off.
