We are seeking an experienced EHS Professional to join our team at eTeam Inc. as an EHS Specialist. In this role, you will play a critical part in upholding our company's mission and vision for health and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Support Health and Safety Programs: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute strategic plans and drive compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage EHS Data: Enter metrics and processes into our EHS management system to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop EHS Programs: Create and review policies, training materials, and other EHS-related documents to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate Training: Deliver site-specific EHS training to ensure employees understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining a safe working environment.
- Conduct Risk Assessments: Identify potential EHS hazards and opportunities for improvement through regular facility audits and risk assessments.
- Investigate Incidents: Partner with teams to investigate incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Perform Data Analysis: Analyze EHS performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Support COVID-19 Response: Ensure compliance with COVID-19 workplace protection measures and respond to any related incidents.
- Manage Contractor Safety: Deploy and manage our contractor safety program to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop Safety Risk Assessments: Create site-specific safety risk assessments to determine required safety controls and procedures.
- Support Local Safety Committees: Collaborate with local safety committees to promote health and safety awareness and best practices.
- Participate in Special Projects: Contribute to special projects such as emergency response, cost reduction, and other initiatives as assigned.
- Passport Required: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
- EHS Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in EHS, with knowledge of domestic and international EHS regulatory standards, best practices, and guidelines.
- Program Development: Strong program development and management skills, with a proven track record of developing and implementing EHS programs.
- Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to train and communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
