Commissions Expert

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc. is seeking a skilled Commissions Analyst to join our team. As a Commissions Analyst, you will play a critical role in managing financial representatives, ensuring accurate field compensation, and processing commissions in accordance with legal requirements.

• Financial Representative Management: Manage the compensation and contract terms of Financial Representatives, Prote 'ge ''s, Registered Representatives, Professional Associates, Financial Professionals, Full Time Agents, Brokers, and Wholesalers.
• Compensation Accuracy: Ensure accurate field compensation by interpreting firm producer contracts and compensation schedules.
• Collaboration with ACL: Work closely with Agent Contracting and Licensing to ensure compensation is paid according to state license regulations.
• Commission Processing: Process assignment of commissions adhering to legal requirements.
• Confidential Information: Provide confidential compensation information to internal departments such as Legal, Audit, and Agency Accounting Services.
• Commission Statement Processing: Process paper, NSCC, and IPS commission statements and adjustments.
• Commission Type Identification: Identify various types of commissions being reported (regular, 12b-1's, and mixed transactions) and product types (mutual fund, variable annuity, variable life, brokerage, and RIA business).
• Customer Service: Respond to commission-related issues and questions, problem research, and resolution, and accurate dissemination of information.

• Work Experience: 5-10 years of experience in Broker Dealer firms.
• Financial Services Experience: 5-10 years of experience in the financial services industry.
• Excel: Proficiency in Excel.
• End Client Communication: Experience in communicating with end clients.
