Role Summary:
Are you prepared to make a substantial contribution to Apple Services? At Apple, innovative concepts transform into exceptional products, services, and customer experiences rapidly. If you have a passion for crafting compelling data narratives through creative and insightful visualizations, we invite you to consider this opportunity.

The Apple Services Data Science & Analytics team plays a pivotal role in driving decisions that enhance customer experiences, stimulate growth, and reveal new business prospects while maintaining user privacy.

We engage with some of the largest e-commerce and media streaming platforms globally, collaborating with an extraordinary team focused on optimizing these services for our customers.

Our team's ethos revolves around swift iteration, open feedback, and constructive debate to achieve the best results. We promote independent decision-making and calculated risk-taking. Our team serves as analytical advisors, partnering with product, design, engineering, marketing, editorial, and business teams.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior BI Engineer within the Services Data Science & Analytics team, you will engage with vast internet-scale data across various product and customer interactions, conducting comprehensive quantitative analyses and transforming data into actionable and intuitive visualizations to facilitate informed decision-making.

The ideal candidate will excel in communication and collaboration across diverse teams, adopt an agile approach to swiftly tackle complex challenges, and pay meticulous attention to detail.

Your role will involve designing and developing executive reporting solutions, highly refined dashboards, and exploratory self-service tools, along with the datasets that underpin them to analyze and present insights related to customer experience, product performance, business operations, and strategic decision-making.

Collaboration with our Data Science colleagues will be essential to define metrics, design datasets, and establish automation strategies.

Extensive interaction with Product, Business, Engineering, and Marketing teams is crucial for our success.

In this capacity, you will work closely with these teams on key business outcomes, influence how our services are evaluated, and create top-tier tools and insights to support them at scale.

As your concepts develop, you will create and communicate a comprehensive roadmap to manage stakeholder expectations while ensuring organization-wide transparency regarding progress.

This position necessitates significant experience in guiding complex, multifaceted projects from conception to execution, ideally in a leadership role.

We seek someone with a curious business mindset capable of distilling intricate concepts and analyses into clear, concise insights that drive action.

The ideal candidate will be recognized for effectively bridging analytics and business teams, possessing the ability to fluently communicate in both domains.

Minimum Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in a Data Visualization, Data Scientist, or Data Analyst role
Strong proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, MicroStrategy, etc., for analysis, insight synthesis, reporting deliverable design & development, and executive presentation.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Spark, with experience utilizing these skills with extensive datasets.

Familiarity with data engineering tools and concepts, data pipeline development, data model design, and aggregation strategies to support responsive and highly interactive data products.

Excellent communication, social, and presentation skills with a keen eye for detail.
Strong time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects under tight deadlines and executive scrutiny.

BS in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a digital subscription business or large-scale e-commerce platform
