We are currently in search of shuttle drivers who are committed to providing outstanding customer service at Harrah's Cherokee Valley River Casino & Hotel in Murphy, NC. Our mission is to offer premier parking solutions, and we seek friendly, engaging individuals who are eager to enhance the guest experience beyond expectations. Our valet parking services operate every day of the week.
Available Shifts:
7:00 AM - 3:00 PM ($15/hour)
3:00 PM - 11:00 PM ($15/hour)
11:00 PM - 7:00 AM overnight shifts ($18/hour)
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure familiarity with the property to facilitate safe and prompt transportation for both valets and guests.
- Assist with loading and unloading luggage from shuttle vehicles.
- Maintain a record of the number of guests transported.
- Conduct inspections of the shuttle vehicle's interior and exterior at the start and end of each shift to ensure cleanliness; recommend servicing as needed.
- Exhibit a friendly and enthusiastic demeanor consistently.
- Engage with guests and address any inquiries they may have.
- Refuel the vehicle as necessary.
- Perform cleaning duties such as vacuuming and wiping down vehicle interiors.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned.
- Uphold a professional appearance for yourself, your uniform, and your work area while on duty.
- Be open to receiving constructive feedback.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Capability to interact courteously and professionally with a diverse range of individuals.
- Preferred one year of relevant experience.
- Basic knowledge of the local area is essential.
- Must be personable and approachable.
- Professional and immaculate appearance is required.
- Demonstrated sense of urgency in performing duties.
- Fluency and literacy in English are mandatory.
- Exemplary guest service skills are a must.
- Ability to remain seated for extended periods.
- Proficient in operating vehicles with various controls safely and efficiently.
- Ability to tolerate environmental factors such as noise, odors, and vibrations without losing focus.
- Competence in reading maps and following verbal directions.
- Ability to assist passengers in and out of vehicles.
- Capability to handle large or heavy items up to 75 pounds and stand for the duration of the shift.
- Auditory and visual range must encompass the immediate surroundings.
