TEKsystems, a leading technology talent agency, is seeking a skilled Cable Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. This exciting opportunity will involve working on a $275 Million dollar casino expansion project in Murphy, NC, where you will be responsible for installing and maintaining the voice and data cabling infrastructure.

Compensation

Technicians can expect a salary of $40,000 to $55,000 per year, while Leads/Formen can expect a salary of $55,000 to $65,000 per year.

Job Description

This is a fast-paced, physical position that requires lifting up to 25 pounds and working at heights. You will be tasked with installing cabinets, cable trays, ladder racks, fiber runners, containment, and trunks, as well as collaborating with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Commercial cable-pulling experience
• Experience working with data copper, fiber, and CCTV cabling
• Understanding of Cable installations of Cat 5 and Cat 6 with the ability to perform punch downs
• A strong work ethic and reliable transportation
• A willingness to learn the trade and work collaboratively with the team
