Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Murphy Rehabilitation and Nursing. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality care to our residents in a resident-centered environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and services
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and satisfaction
Requirements
  • Credentialed in NC with unencumbered NC License/Certification
  • Preferred: Two years experience in a Long Term Care environment
  • Direct experience with Electronic Medical Record software (AHT a plus)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff and all levels of the organization
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to be accurate, concise, and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team
  • Working knowledge of Computers, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Office
  • Valid NC driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Unencumbered professional certifications, where applicable
  • Excellent references
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to be accurate, concise, and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team
