As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality respiratory services, conducting diagnostic evaluations, and monitoring patients who require mechanical ventilation.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate ventilators for patients requiring mechanical support
  • Accurately maintain hospital and departmental records
  • Perform procedures with compassion and understanding for patients

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in Florida
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, with ACLS, PALS, and NRP to be obtained within six months
  • Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Care program
  • Strong analytical and customer service skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and document patient conditions
  • Administer respiratory therapies and assist with airway management
  • Monitor patient responses and take action as needed
  • Respond to emergencies ensuring effective ventilation

Additional Requirements:

  • ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications to be completed within 30 days of employment
  • Associate Degree in Respiratory Care
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist or State Registered Respiratory Therapist credentials
