**Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Program Instructor II to lead weekly preschool art classes for children aged 2-5. The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging art projects, fostering creativity and imagination in our young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and teach weekly preschool art classes, incorporating a wide range of art materials and techniques.
  • Develop and implement innovative art projects, often with a science or storytelling theme.
  • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment, promoting social and emotional growth in children.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless program delivery and high-quality customer service.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, as required.

Requirements:

  • One year of experience working with preschool or youth populations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in standard computer software, such as Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • First aid/CPR certification and ability to obtain, if not already held.
  • Successful completion of a thorough background check, as required by the Child/Adult Abuse Information Act.
