Patient Care Specialist

At Jennie Stuart Medical Center, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Care Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. As a member of our Behavioral Health Unit, you will provide exceptional nursing care to patients in need.
We offer a competitive salary of $75,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Job Description:This position requires a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current licensure to practice in the state of Kentucky or a compact state. BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is also required. Experience in Handle with Care is preferred.
In this role, you will be responsible for administering medication correctly, documenting medication administration, reporting patient status changes, and implementing changes in the plan of care. You will also maintain a clean and organized work area, adhere to department standards, and interact with colleagues and patients in a considerate, helpful, and courteous manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current license to practice in the state of Kentucky or a compact state
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Handle with Care experience preferred
