Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at UNC Health Care. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in the evaluation and treatment of patients with mobility disorders and related impairments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer diagnostic tests and evaluations to assess patient needs and develop treatment plans.
  • Teach and supervise graduate Physical Therapy students and/or clinical fellows/residents.
  • Analyze results of diagnostic and therapeutic testing to establish patient goals and modify treatment programs.
  • Select and apply current and advanced techniques to provide quality and efficient rehabilitative services.
  • Organize and prioritize care according to patient/family needs.
  • Serve as a resource to North Carolina government departments and statewide health professionals in specialty areas.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new clinical programs.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of North Carolina.
  • BLS certification.

This position is employed by NC Health (Rex Healthcare, Inc., d/b/a NC Health), a private, fully-owned subsidiary of UNC Health Care System. This is not a State employed position.
