Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer diagnostic tests and evaluations to assess patient mobility disorders and related impairments.
  • Teach and supervise graduate Physical Therapy students and/or clinical fellows/residents, developing innovative programs to enhance patient care.
  • Analyze results of diagnostic and therapeutic testing to establish patient goals and modify treatment programs, identifying expected patient outcomes and communicating relevant information to promote continuity of care.
  • Select and apply current and advanced techniques to provide quality and efficient rehabilitative services, prioritizing care according to patient/family needs.
  • Participate in community health screenings, events, and program development to meet emerging needs in conjunction with clinical specialists and department directors.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, maintaining valid and reliable records of patient procedures and progress.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
