Job Overview

As a Clinical Project Manager II/III at Sigmaways Inc, you will be responsible for managing project information to support project-related decision making by project teams, Clinical Operations Biometrics (COBM) Leadership Team, Life Cycle Teams (LCTs) and Life Cycle Committee (LCC).

You will apply project management skills and experience in delivering projects on time, within budget and with high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing clinical project information to support project teams, LCTs and LCC decision making in collaboration with PMO leadership.
  • Tactical coordination of timelines/budgets for all clinical projects within the COBM.
  • Ensuring integrated resource and budget planning, identifying gaps, potential bottlenecks or delays and challenging assumptions.
  • Overseeing risk management, including critical path, risk assessment, scenario creation and analysis.
  • Proposing options to close gaps and get projects back on schedule.
  • Compiling and communicating project reports.
  • Ensuring consistency, transparency and optimization across the COBM portfolio.
  • Implementing/pulling in best practices to the COBM and fostering continuous improvement by ensuring knowledge, experience exchange.
  • Defining, measuring and reporting key performance indicators for assigned projects, enabling the COBM to measure and improve quality, efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Managing meetings, including setting agendas, organizing meeting time and editing meeting minutes.

Requirements include:

  • Successful problem-solving skills and ability to coordinate project-related activities.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Basic stakeholder management, facilitation and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Project and/or Project & Portfolio Management Tool.
  • Ability to manage projects with ambitious milestones.
  • Ability to manage projects with activity/milestone achievement to launch the product.
  • Ability to escalate and drive management decisions in relation to project execution and resource needs.
  • Understanding of relevant Design Control and/or Phased Development processes preferred.

Education and experience requirements include:

  • BS/BA in science, engineering or business administration or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Specific Project Management training and/or certification preferred.
  • Master's degree preferred.

Experience requirements include:

  • 2-5 years project management, product development clinical operations and/or relevant experience.
  • Experience in research & development preferred.
  • Experience in clinical operations preferred.
  • Previous experience with standard project management process (PMI) desired.
