Position Overview: We are looking for a seasoned IT Systems Administrator to join our team. The selected individual will report to the regional IT Manager and will be responsible for the daily administrative functions of the IT department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Integrate, upgrade, and oversee domain services and infrastructure systems within a Microsoft Windows Server environment.
  • Configure and manage various business applications, IT/Cyber tools, and additional software solutions.
  • Propose enhancements to the organization’s IT services.
  • Contribute to the security of computer and network systems using a range of security products.
  • Oversee data backup and recovery systems for the facility.
  • Administer and maintain client computers and solutions across different LAN environments.
  • Provide end-user support for the local office.
  • Maintain software licensing records and assist in IT budget planning.
  • Mentor fellow IT staff and lead technical projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field, along with relevant industry certifications (MCSA, CCNA, Security+, RHCSA).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in roles such as Windows System Administrator, Linux Systems Administrator, or Network Administrator.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Security+CE or equivalent certification within 90 days of employment.
  • Proficiency in managing domain services with Windows Server, including Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, DFS, and DHCP.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and advanced IT experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to create technical documentation.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Preferred Experience:

  • Active Top Secret security clearance.
  • System administration experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 or later.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure or AWS Administration, SharePoint, Veeam Backup & Replication, or SCCM Configuration Manager.
  • Familiarity with Cyber Security tools and technologies.

Additional Requirements:

  • U.S. citizenship is required for eligibility.
  • Selected candidates will undergo a government security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check is required.
  • Compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) drug testing is mandatory.
