Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled construction worker to join our team at Coastal Mountain Home Buyers. As a construction laborer, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction and maintenance of our properties.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the construction and maintenance of properties, including demolition, carpentry, and painting.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment as needed.
  • Remove debris and hazardous materials to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Comply with all instructions given by the construction manager and work with other team members to complete construction projects accurately.
  • Build temporary structures such as signs, cones, barricades, ramps, and other devices to control traffic around the construction site.
Requirements
  • Good physical strength and stamina, with the ability to work in inclement weather.
  • Previous construction experience, knowledge of construction methods, tools, and equipment, and the ability to understand blueprints and construction plans.
  • OSHA 10 certification is required.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Trade certification, associate's degree, and/or completed apprenticeship program.
  • Experience with various construction trades such as framing, painting, finish hardware, drywall, some light electrical and light plumbing.
  • Ability to skillfully perform basic plumbing, electrical, masonry, roofing, and HVAC tasks.
