Job Summary

Matrix Providers is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Clinical Psychologist to join our team in the Behavioral Health Optimization Program (BHOP) at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO. As a key member of our team, you will provide full-time care to our patients, utilizing your expertise in clinical psychology to deliver exceptional healthcare services.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, assessments, and treatment plans for patients with complex diagnostic and treatment issues.
  • Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy, as well as couples therapy and alcohol and drug treatment evaluations.
  • Consult with medical personnel, legal authorities, military commanders, and school districts as required.
  • Maintain accurate and current notes in patient records and produce reports of evaluation and/or treatment as needed.
  • Participate in military-specific training, including Command Directed Evaluations, security clearances, and pre-post deployment screening.
Requirements
  • Doctorate in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program and completed an APA-accredited internship.
  • Active U.S. state license to practice as a Clinical Psychologist.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
  • Minimum of 2 full years of recent experience working as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in an outpatient mental health clinic.
