Job SummaryA Private Banker is responsible for acquiring, maintaining, and expanding high-value client relationships. They consult with clients regarding their financial needs and provide full-service banking and wealth management services through the coordination of a team of wealth management professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Drive business results and acquire new assets, both from existing client base and new client acquisition; advise clients on their overall balance sheet, including investment management, wealth planning, credit, and banking needs.
- Manage the ongoing client relationship, conduct periodic relationship reviews, and further penetrate client's use of services to achieve targeted growth.
- Coordinate a team of wealth management professionals to deliver financial solutions and the required client experience.
- Work to maintain strong relationships with centers of influence, including internal partners, attorneys, accountants, insurance agents, and financial planners.
- Actively participate in community activities and events with the purpose of visibility in the community and prospects.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Preferred professional designations: CFP, CFA, CPA, and/or JD.
- Preferred licenses: Life and Health Insurance.
- Five or more years of experience in private banking and/or wealth management.
- Knowledge of wealth management and wealth planning concepts.
- Knowledge of consumer and commercial credit structuring and lending practices.
- Interpersonal skills to represent the bank positively in dealing with clients.
- Good analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Must have a sharp business development focus.
- Possess effective sales and negotiation skills.
- Participate in all required compliance training, including Bank Secrecy Act/anti-money laundering training, as well as internal and external training programs, online training, meetings, and seminars/conferences, etc.

Position TypeThis is a full-time position that requires schedule flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
TravelThis position requires up to 10% travel.
