Job Summary

**Job Title:** Manufacturing Technician I

**Job Summary and Purpose:**

As a Manufacturing Technician I at Kelly Services Inc, you will play a critical role in the production of Marek's Disease vaccine. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the tissue and viral culture of Chicken Embryo Fibroblast (CEF) cells in a production clean room environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform aseptic technique to maintain a sterile environment
  • Assist in the preparation of growth medium and cryoprotectant medium
  • Conduct tissue and viral culture procedures
  • Document all procedures thoroughly and accurately
  • Collaborate with production support technicians to ensure smooth operations
  • Work closely with production team to meet quality and production standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred but not required)
  • Manufacturing experience (beneficial but not required)
  • Ability to read, write legibly, and communicate in English
  • Color vision, fine motor movements, and ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and push/pull up to 40 lbs frequently
