Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating, modifying, or terminating crop insurance policies for both new and renewal applications in accordance with Risk Management Agency (RMA) guidelines, industry standards, state regulations, and company protocols.
  • Processing Application/Change Forms, Production Reports, Acreage Reports, Quality Control documentation, and Claims-related forms.
  • Managing requests for policy transfers.
  • Conducting audits of reported policy data, including Coverage, Production, Acreage, Claims, Quality Control records, farming practices, and reported entities.
  • Estimating premiums for crop insurance policies.
  • Researching and addressing inquiries regarding crop policies from agents, insured parties, and adjusters.
  • Generating and reviewing data reports to ensure compliance and accuracy of policy information.
  • Assisting in training agents on Crop Insurance and evaluating marketing materials related to Crop Insurance products and sales.
  • Participating in company and industry training sessions.
  • Handling incoming paper and electronic correspondence.
  • Documenting and archiving policy information in line with company standards.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in an administrative or customer service role is preferred.
  • Background in crop insurance, insurance, or underwriting is advantageous.
  • Strong research and organizational abilities, coupled with exceptional customer service skills.
  • Capability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
This position is hybrid, requiring in-office presence at least two days a week.
