Job Responsibilities and Qualifications

I. Role Summary:

The Nuclear Medicine Specialist is tasked with executing a range of complex technical duties using radiopharmaceuticals to aid in identifying anatomical irregularities.

Required Qualifications:

I. Minimum Requirements:

Education: Associate's degree in Radiological Health Sciences, graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Licensure/Certifications: Registration with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists in Nuclear Medicine or Radiography, and/or state licensure. Certification in modality required within six months of employment. BLS certification.

Experience: One year of preferred experience.

Additional Qualifications:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
  • State License in Nuclear Medicine.
  • Graduate of a vocational school.
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB).

No travel required.
