We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Educator to join our team at MelroseWakefield Healthcare. As a Clinical Educator, you will play a critical role in promoting clinical excellence and providing leadership in education, clinical practice, and program development.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement educational programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of nursing staff in emergency and critical care settings.
- Collaborate with management and leadership to develop criteria for patient care, assess health needs of patients, and evaluate nursing interventions to achieve optimal nursing practices outcomes.
- Facilitate problem-solving and decision-making to influence the development, implementation, and evaluation of patient, unit, department, and organizational goals.
- Provide clinical expertise and serve as a role model for hospital personnel and medical staff.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of educational activities and utilize data for future programming.
- Develop and evaluate educational programs in collaboration with leadership and staff.
- Coordinate orientation of nursing staff to the organization/unit.
- Provide educational opportunities that benefit nurses at all stages of their career.
- Massachusetts RN Licensure.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required, MSN preferred.
- Recent experience in hospital education and training, preferred.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and related computer applications.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
