Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Educator to join our team at MelroseWakefield Healthcare. As a Clinical Educator, you will play a critical role in promoting clinical excellence and providing leadership in education, clinical practice, and program development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement educational programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of nursing staff in emergency and critical care settings.
  • Collaborate with management and leadership to develop criteria for patient care, assess health needs of patients, and evaluate nursing interventions to achieve optimal nursing practices outcomes.
  • Facilitate problem-solving and decision-making to influence the development, implementation, and evaluation of patient, unit, department, and organizational goals.
  • Provide clinical expertise and serve as a role model for hospital personnel and medical staff.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of educational activities and utilize data for future programming.
  • Develop and evaluate educational programs in collaboration with leadership and staff.
  • Coordinate orientation of nursing staff to the organization/unit.
  • Provide educational opportunities that benefit nurses at all stages of their career.
Requirements
  • Massachusetts RN Licensure.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required, MSN preferred.
  • Recent experience in hospital education and training, preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and related computer applications.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
