About Our Client

The client is a prominent law firm seeking a talented professional to join their team in Boca Raton. With a unique blend of cultural insight and professional expertise, they pride themselves on creating an environment that fosters success for both employers and candidates. This role offers a competitive salary: $55,000 per year, plus benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off (PTO), and a 401(k) plan with company match.Key Responsibilities
  • - Prepare, edit, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, and contracts.- File and organize documents in physical and electronic filing systems.- Maintain attorney calendars, schedule meetings, depositions, and court appearances.- Conduct basic legal research and gather case-related information.- Manage client communications, including phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries.- Assist with client intake and coordinate client meetings.- File documents with the court and ensure timely service of pleadings and other legal filings.- Track and monitor deadlines and court dates.- Perform general administrative duties such as answering phones, handling mail, and ordering office supplies.- Other duties as assigned by attorneys and legal staff.
Requirements
  • - High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.- 2+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role.- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).- Familiarity with legal software and case management systems.- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures.- Notary Public certification is a plus.
