Korn Ferry Executive Search is seeking an experienced Instrumentation Technician for a manufacturing facility in Dallas, TX.

About the Role:

This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled professional to join our client's team as an Instrumentation Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing complex electrical systems, including PLCs and instrumentation. Strong skills in ladder logic and experience with NEC and electrical distribution are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with shift industrial technicians and operation leads to identify and troubleshoot process issues.
  • Identify and withdraw parts needed for electrical maintenance and repair projects.
  • Perform electrical repairs on various types of equipment per standard work plans and manuals.
  • Select, install, configure, and calibrate instruments and devices.
  • Test equipment for safety and efficiency.
  • Program new plant equipment or modify existing programs as directed.


Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of US Military experience and extensive PLC and instrumentation troubleshooting experience. Knowledge and experience with NEC and electrical distribution are also required. Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC experience is preferred.
