About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Security Engineer to join our team at Slalom. As a key member of our Global Technology Microsoft Center of Excellence, you will play a critical role in driving strategic direction and enablement for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and manage security solutions for Microsoft environments, focusing on enhancing the end-user experience across secure solution architectures.
  • Deploy tailored M365 Compliance configurations with Purview Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), data lifecycle management, and records management.
  • Implement and manage Azure data governance solutions, ensuring compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to conduct security audits and assessments, providing technical support and guidance on security matters.
  • Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and guidelines, staying current with emerging security threats and technologies.
Requirements
  • Experience as a Microsoft Security Engineer or similar role, with proficiency in Microsoft security technologies and tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong understanding of security best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.

Compensation

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position at the Consultant level, the base salary pay range is $96,000 to $177,000. For this position at the Senior Consultant level, the base salary pay range is $110,000 to $203,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
