Job Title: Crop Insurance Specialist

Join QBE The Americas as a Crop Insurance Specialist and play a vital role in ensuring the success of our customers' agricultural endeavors. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for investigating and resolving crop claims in a fair and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough investigations of crop claims, gathering evidence and interviewing stakeholders as needed.
  • Analyze data and make informed decisions regarding claim settlements.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, providing clear explanations of the claims process and resolution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless claim processing and resolution.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes, applying this knowledge to improve claim handling and resolution.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • 1 year of relevant experience in crop insurance, claims adjusting, or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently (approximately 10+ trips annually).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree or higher in a related field, such as agriculture, business, or insurance.
  • Experience with crop insurance regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of investigative techniques and legal research methodologies.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
