Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty Supervisor to join our team at InsideHigherEd. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising student teachers, working with mentor teachers, principals, and other stakeholders to provide support for student teachers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise student teachers and conduct regular visits to assess their progress
  • Guide and direct student teachers in completing tasks and assignments
  • Report student progress through observation, assessment, and evaluation
  • Assist with difficulties, concerns, and problems of assigned student teachers, principals, and mentor teachers
  • Attend meetings scheduled by direct supervisor and interact with all persons involved in the student teaching experience
Requirements
  • Master's degree in the field specified in the position announcement
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Current certification in the State of Oklahoma and minimum of five years teaching experience within public school settings
  • Prior experience in school administration or supervision of teachers is preferred
Working Conditions

The Adjunct Faculty Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment and will be required to maintain accurate records, assign grades, and report data to the department. The successful candidate will also be expected to interact with a diverse student and faculty population.
