About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team at Bigbear. As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise the team on cloud solutions to work within our AWS environment
  • Troubleshoot and configure cloud services within our environment
  • Help design, develop, and maintain cloud-based reporting solutions
  • Work with the team to secure and maintain RMF accreditation for cloud applications
  • Resolve and eliminate cyber risks and vulnerabilities across cloud applications
  • Perform system upgrade activities of BI Reporting Tool Set
  • Maintain and adjudicate FISMA/ACSA findings for monthly system security scans
  • Coordinate with ISSO for POA&M Responses as needed
  • Develop and maintain yearly cloud account budgets for senior leadership
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and 5 to 8 years of experience supporting an infrastructure management team
  • Must maintain a TS/SCI clearance and be able to work in a hybrid mode
  • Experience in migrating applications to cloud, preferably AWS
  • Knowledge of application architecture in the cloud, including refactoring, integration with other services, and security
  • Familiarity with DSO standards and processes
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Windows and Linux Administration experience
  • Experience with scripting for automation
Preferred Qualifications
  • AWS Cloud Certification
