Job Title: AWS Cloud Infrastructure Architect

About the Role:

At Omni Inclusive, we're seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Infrastructure Architect to join our team. As a key member of our cloud infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud-based data center infrastructure on AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud-based data center infrastructure on AWS, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-based solutions for various workloads and applications.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure to identify and resolve performance issues, security vulnerabilities, and service disruptions.
  • Implement and enforce cloud security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and compliance standards.
  • Support data center operations, including hardware provisioning, network connectivity, and resource allocation within AWS.
  • Assist in the automation of routine tasks and workflows using AWS CloudFormation, AWS CLI, or other relevant tools.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians and end-users, addressing cloud-related inquiries and issues.
  • Document cloud architecture, configurations, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance with industry standards.
  • Stay abreast of emerging cloud technologies and trends, continuously enhancing skills and knowledge to drive innovation and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Previous experience working with cloud-based technologies, particularly AWS.
  • Proficiency in AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, and CloudWatch.
  • Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts, such as VPC peering, VPN, and Direct Connect.
  • Experience with virtualization platforms and tools, such as VMware, Hyper-V, or AWS EC2 instances.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and infrastructure as code.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • WS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator) preferred.
  • Strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development in cloud computing and related technologies.
