Job Title: Adjunct Instructor

Lakeland University, a leading liberal arts institution in Wisconsin, seeks qualified adjunct instructors to teach Computer Science courses in various formats, including online and evening classes.

Job Summary:

We are looking for experienced educators to facilitate the teaching and learning of Computer Science courses to adult students. Successful candidates will have a strong background in Computer Science or a related field and be able to teach undergraduate courses effectively.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach Computer Science courses to undergraduate students
  • Develop and administer coursework that meets course learning objectives
  • Work with full-time faculty and deans to understand and employ activities that meet course learning objectives
  • Respond to student inquiries and concerns in a timely manner
  • Use university technology as directed
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Relevant work experience in an industry related to the academic subject matter
  • Some teaching experience preferred but not required
  • Comfortable teaching in face-to-face, online, and blended modes of instructional delivery
  • Familiarity with the Blackboard learning management system
