Position Overview:

We are in search of a highly qualified and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our innovative team in the manufacturing sector. This permanent position will leverage your expertise in electro-mechanical systems, compliance with ANSI standards, proficiency in GD&T, and skills in SolidWorks, FMEA, Labview, Matlab, 3D Design, Mechanical Design, and Finite Element Analysis. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the design, development, testing, and production of mechanical components and systems. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop mechanical systems and components utilizing SolidWorks, ensuring adherence to ANSI standards and GD&T.
2. Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to assess the structural integrity of design concepts.
3. Utilize Matlab and Labview for data analysis and system modeling.
4. Prepare Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and oversee their implementation.
5. Lead and engage in Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify potential failure modes and their impacts on system performance.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical design elements into overall projects.
7. Supervise the fabrication, installation, modification, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment.
8. Develop and execute testing protocols, analyze results, and prepare comprehensive reports to validate or highlight deviations from established standards.
9. Stay informed on the latest advancements in mechanical engineering and contribute to the company's continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design and manufacturing.
3. Proficiency in SolidWorks, Matlab, Labview, and other relevant software.
4. Expertise in electro-mechanical systems, ANSI standards, and GD&T.
5. Experience with ECR, FMEA, and 3D design.
6. Strong understanding of Finite Element Analysis.
7. Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to work under pressure.
8. Strong communication skills and effective teamwork capabilities.
9. High attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
