3223 Duke LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Professional/Caregiver to join our team in providing exceptional care to our residents. As a key member of our Assisted Living Community, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Medication Administration: Administer medications to residents in accordance with established guidelines, policies, and procedures, as well as state law.
- Activities of Daily Living: Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, toileting, and escorting to and from appointments and other destinations.
- Documentation and Reporting: Document significant changes in resident condition and report such changes to the Resident Services Director.
- Vital Signs: Take vital signs, including respirations, temperature, blood pressure, and pulse, and record information appropriately.
- Companionship and Support: Provide companionship to residents and participate in and support activity programs.
- Environment Safety: Monitor the environment for safety or to maintain the well-being of residents.
- Incident Reporting: Report incidents to the Resident Services Director and/or Assisted Living Director using the appropriate forms.
- Light Housekeeping: Perform occasional light housekeeping tasks, such as bed making and changing of linens.
- Medication Management: Ensure that medications are administered following physician's orders, established policy and procedure, and state law.
- Resident Rights: Ensure that resident rights to fair and equitable treatment, self-determination, individuality, privacy, property, and civil rights, including the right to file a complaint, are upheld.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in and support quality assurance/continuous quality improvement programs and processes.
- Teamwork and Communication: Serves on standing and ad hoc work teams/committees as required, attends all mandatory in-services as directed, and consistently maintains complete confidentiality of all medical, financial, employee, computer, or other sensitive material.
- Certifications: Must be certified with current, valid CPR, 1st Aid, and Finger Print Clearance Card (if not, willing to obtain it upon hire).
- Experience: Prior medication experience is preferred.
- Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Desire: Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
- Reliability: Must be reliable and work extremely well independently, and as a team member.
- Supervision: Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
