Practical Nursing Specialist

Overview:
Palo Verde Cancer Specialists is seeking a dedicated Practical Nursing Specialist to enhance our dynamic healthcare team. This role involves providing essential nursing support across multiple facilities within our network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare medical instruments and examination areas for patient care.
- Manage the insertion and removal of urinary catheters.
- Monitor vital signs and document patient health records accurately.
- Administer prescribed medications and perform standard diagnostic tests.
- Collect and process laboratory specimens.
- Assist healthcare providers during medical procedures and patient evaluations.
- Coordinate laboratory services as needed.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Practical Nurse program is mandatory.
- Experience in urology is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
- Ability to interact with patients and colleagues in a professional and friendly manner.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Solid understanding of medical protocols and administrative procedures.
- Knowledge of patient care standards and examination techniques.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
