Salary Range
We offer a competitive salary of $95,000 to $120,000 per year, plus a potential discretionary bonus of up to 15%.

About the Role
As a Workforce Development Senior Expert, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and execution of our consulting projects. Your primary focus will be on growing and delivering a portfolio of consulting projects, driving sales efforts, managing teams, and ensuring the highest standards of excellence in project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of workforce development consulting projects from inception to completion.
  • Define Project Scope: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Oversee Project Budgets: Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget by overseeing project budgets, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Provide Regular Updates: Provide regular updates and reports on project progress to stakeholders, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.

Business Development:
Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with potential clients, focusing on state workforce agencies, HHS agencies, and large employer organizations. Lead sales efforts, including prospecting, proposal development, and presentations to secure new consulting engagements.

Leadership:
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior consultants and project teams to foster professional growth and development. Delegate tasks effectively, monitor team performance, and provide feedback to ensure high-quality project outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or 10 years' experience required. Graduate degree preferred. 5-10 years' relevant work experience. Strong familiarity with the public workforce system and key workforce development concepts.
