In the role of Senior Energy Installation Consultant, you will leverage your consulting, analytical, strategic, tactical, and installation energy knowledge to contribute to projects for the Department of Defense (DoD). Your support will encompass the entire spectrum of installation energy initiatives. You will serve as a trusted advisor, tasked with identifying, analyzing, and assessing multifaceted systems, policies, and processes that enhance installation energy resilience.

Your guidance will shape our efforts for the DoD and the solutions we provide to maintain operational readiness and effectiveness by delivering energy-related policies and governance for programs that foster resilient, efficient, clean, and cyber-secure energy for military forces, weapon systems, and installations.

Qualifications:
  • Over 15 years of experience in military installation analysis.
  • At least 5 years of experience with the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Service staff, or Joint Staff.
  • Expertise in evaluating installation energy initiatives and assessing collaborations with industry, utility providers, and public agencies to advance DoD energy goals.
  • Experience in reviewing existing laws, policies, guidelines, and legislation related to installation energy.
  • Familiarity with the OSD's comprehensive portfolio of installation energy programs.
  • Understanding of legislative and policy frameworks governing installation energy.
  • Capability to address program or project execution challenges, develop and coordinate communications and meetings, and manage special projects.
  • Ability to oversee project timelines to identify gaps, impacts, and risks.
  • Eligibility to obtain a security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
Clearance Requirements:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information.
