Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team at LHH. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for managing bi-weekly multi-state payroll, processing and tracking employee time off, and ensuring data integrity between our HRIS and payroll systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Management: Manage bi-weekly multi-state payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Time Off Management: Process and track employee requests for time off, ensuring that PTO accrual reports reflect all activities.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure data integrity between our global HRIS and payroll systems, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Employee Inquiries: Respond to employee inquiries for routine questions regarding payroll, providing timely and accurate information.
  • Benefits Administration: Process 401k and HSA contribution funding, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify potential process improvements for the timely and accurate completion of all payroll and retirement benefit plan transactions.
  • Compliance: Assist with annual W2 reconciliation, audit responses for periodic internal/external payroll audits and compliance reporting, including year-end payroll, 401(k), and Workers Compensation.
  • HR Support: Perform some HR duties, including ad hoc projects/system implementation/testing, data requests as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience: Two plus years of relevant experience in payroll management.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently as well as with other teams across the organization.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field preferred.
  • Software: Experience working with UKG is required.
