Cardiac Care Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Care Specialist to join our team at Cynet Health. As a Cardiac Care Specialist, you will provide comprehensive care in a cardiac unit specializing in post-op coronary bypass graft, valve surgery, chest pain, dysrhythmia with pre/post pacemaker/AICD placement, pre/post cath lab, and CHF.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a patient ratio of 4:1 or 5:1, with potential floating to other units with a 6:1 ratio
  • Competent in post-cath sheath removal and handling cardiac drips such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, Primacor, Dobutamine, Dopamine, and Heparin
  • Float to any PCU or Med Surg units as required
  • Utilize medical equipment including IV pumps, chest tubes, and epicardial pacing wires
  • Adhere to EMR systems (Cerner) for patient documentation
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience
  • KY License
  • ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications
  • Cardiac PCU experience, CABG experience
