Job Title: Cardiac Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Care Specialist to join our team at Jewish Hospital. As a Cardiac Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Angioplasty Recovery (PTCA)/PCU specialty unit.

Job Summary

The Cardiac Care Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment, caring for a 4-5 intermediate patient team. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of Cardiac PCU experience and be comfortable with IV insertion and telemetry/dysrhythmia/12-lead EKG. The schedule will include working 2 out of 3 holidays and assignment durations ranging from 13-18 weeks.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the Angioplasty Recovery (PTCA)/PCU specialty unit
  • Work in a team environment to care for a 4-5 intermediate patient team
  • Insert IVs and monitor telemetry, dysrhythmia, and 12-lead EKG
  • Participate in unit-specific activities, such as TAVR, MitraClip, or Watchman procedures
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care
Requirements
  • 2 years of Cardiac PCU experience
  • Comfortable with IV insertion and telemetry/dysrhythmia/12-lead EKG
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
