**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Admit patients for methadone and buprenorphine treatment, ensuring a seamless transition into our program.
  • Cover absences for the Medical Director during vacations, attendance at addiction meetings, and personal absences, demonstrating your adaptability and dedication.
  • Conduct thorough history and physical exams, utilizing your expertise to inform patient care.
  • Document patient information accurately in our EMR system, entering orders for methadone dosing or writing buprenorphine prescriptions as needed.
  • Maintain close monitoring of patient dosages in collaboration with the Treatment Center Director, Counselors, and Dosing Nurses, guaranteeing optimal patient outcomes.
  • Consult on high-risk patients and perform annual medication reviews, showcasing your commitment to patient well-being.
  • Rotating between Chatsworth and Blairsville locations, you will have the opportunity to engage with diverse patient populations and expand your professional horizons.

**Requirements:**

  • Be licensed in the state of Georgia.
  • Possess board certification in Addiction Medicine or Family Practice.
  • Hold at least one year of experience in addiction medicine.
  • Demonstrate the ability to interact compassionately with diverse patient populations.
  • Pass a satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
