About the RoleThis fully accountable position focuses on ensuring the quality of outpatient coding and driving continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a commitment to accuracy.
Responsibilities- Function as a key member of the coding team, delivering high-quality coding services that meet industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely coding, adhering to regulatory requirements.
- Associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited RHIA or RHIT program.
- Alternatively, AHIMA Certified Coding Specialist credential with 2 years of outpatient coding experience.
- Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS).
