Job Summary:

The City of Saratoga Springs NY is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our Recreation Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Administrative Director of Recreation, including fiscal accounts and reports, maintaining a detailed database on Recreation projects, and updating and/or establishing office policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

* Assist the Administrative Director of Recreation with various administrative and support duties
* Maintain fiscal accounts and reports, including budgeting and financial analysis
* Develop and maintain a detailed database on Recreation projects, including project management and tracking
* Update and/or establish office policies and procedures, including staff supervision and training
* Provide general information to the public, including answering phone calls and responding to emails

Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree or higher in a related field, or equivalent experience
* 1 year of full-time paid office administrative experience, or equivalent part-time experience
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work with diverse populations
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
