As a key member of our team, the Service Line Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Operating Room. This dynamic individual will be responsible for coordinating onboarding, competencies, and education of staff within the service line, as well as collaborating with anesthesia, surgeons, vendors, and other units to maximize the utilization of the Operating Room and ensure quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate onboarding, competencies, and education of staff within the service line
- Collaborate with anesthesia, surgeons, vendors, and other units to maximize the utilization of the Operating Room
- Foster transparency, interdisciplinary collaboration, and accountability in area of responsibility
- Optimize resource allocation to support current and potential objectives and initiatives for area of responsibility
- Organize, direct, and staff patient care services within the service line to ensure quality outcomes
- 2 years of experience in a perioperative setting with demonstrated leadership skills
- Minimum Required: Completion of Registered Nurse Associate's degree or Surgical Technology Program
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree preferred (RN) or Certified Surgical Technologist
