Job Summary

The primary responsibility of a Sales Floor Associate at Living Spaces is to execute the Guest Engagement Model and create a positive experience for our guests. This involves executing style guide directives, overseeing merchandising, visual, and labeling, and ensuring daily task lists are completed by store teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training and Development: Maintain a primary focus on training and development on sales proficiency process, complete all training, and demonstrate the ability to effectively execute to company expectations.
  • Merchandising and Visual: Execute style guide directives by overseeing all aspects of merchandising, visual, and labeling.
  • Task Management: Ensure daily task lists are completed by store teams.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure inventory accuracy according to company asset protection standard work.
  • Guest Engagement: Drive proficiency using Living Spaces Guest Engagement Model, connect behaviors in the Guest Engagement model to expected sales outcomes, and self-assess daily results.
  • Performance Improvement: Partner with Leadership on behavioral expectations to improve and complete a monthly proficiency plan.
  • Team Collaboration: Actively support and contribute to the store with the goal of helping the entire team delight guests and achieve revenue targets.
  • Adaptability: Utilize all tools to the company standard, ensure check-out/in processes are executed, and be able to work weekends and most holidays.
Requirements
  • Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent, 1 year of retail experience in a direct customer interactive environment preferred, and high volume experience is preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Experience in Microsoft Office programs.
Compensation and Benefits

The hiring pay range provides a guide for what we would reasonably pay for the position. Pay will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
