Job Summary

We are seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our team. As a PCT, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care, working under the supervision of a registered nurse. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and comfort of our patients undergoing dialysis treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
  • Measure and record patient statistics, including vital signs and laboratory results
  • Set up and operate hemodialysis machines, ensuring accurate and safe treatment
  • Build long-term relationships with patients, providing education and support on kidney disease and dialysis-related topics
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team of clinicians, including nurses, dietitians, and social workers, to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical and mental ability to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Healthcare experience preferred, including certifications such as BONENT, CHT, CNA, CMA, or Phlebotomy
