Job Summary

CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Pharmacist to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and promoting healthy outcomes in our communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Safety and Quality Assurance: Ensure the safe and effective dispensing of medications, and maintain a high level of quality assurance in all aspects of pharmacy operations.
  • Pharmacy Operations and Management: Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy, including inventory management, personnel management, and financial management.
  • Customer Service and Communication: Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and colleagues to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead and develop a high-performing team of pharmacy technicians and support staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Business Development and Growth: Identify opportunities for business growth and development, and contribute to the development of strategic plans to drive performance and improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree, and active pharmacy license in the state of employment.
  • Experience and Skills: Minimum 2 years of experience as a pharmacist, with a strong background in patient care, pharmacy operations, and team leadership.
  • Certifications and Training: Immunization certification through an accredited organization, and completion of relevant training programs in pharmacy operations and management.
