Job Title: Process/Manufacturing Engineer

Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and technically strong chemical or mechanical engineer to support our manufacturing facility in Minnetonka, MN.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an engineer to provide engineering support for the operation of a membrane production line, including day-to-day troubleshooting, performance tracking, process documentation updates, and collaboration with internal and external support teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide engineering support for the operation of a membrane production line, including day-to-day troubleshooting, performance tracking, process documentation updates, and collaboration with internal and external support teams.
  • Collaborate and effectively interface with manufacturing, technology, quality, maintenance, sales, marketing, and other internal and external support teams to meet EHS, production, quality, cost savings, and new product development goals within schedule and budget.
  • Establish, track, and monitor key production metrics (Availability, Cost of Quality, EHS).
  • Drive process improvements by identifying, developing, and leading improvements and projects to meet key production metrics.
  • Apply technical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment/production issues - mechanical, chemical, electrical, controls.
  • Develop, write, and review new process documentation.
  • Potential for on-call or extended hours support.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university (Mechanical or Chemical Engineering degree preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years experience, manufacturing environment preferred.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience leading capital projects.
  • Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and provide efficient solutions (Root Cause Analysis).
  • Ability to handle diverse activities simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal, team, and leadership skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
