Instructional Designer II

Olgoonik Corporation is seeking a skilled Instructional Designer II to join our team. As an Instructional Designer II, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and evaluating curriculum in accordance with the Instructional Systems Design model, Standard Operating Procedures, and Federal Law Enforcement Training Accreditation (FLETA) standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply principles of Adult Learning Theory to design engaging and effective training materials
  • Design, develop, implement, and evaluate training solutions that meet the needs of our clients
  • Develop curriculum and courses of instruction using the Instructional Systems Design model
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify training gaps and recommend solutions
  • Develop learning goals and objectives, and monitor courses and instructors against performance criteria
  • Evaluate pilot courses to ensure they meet Training and Performance Standard Operating Procedures, FLETA accreditation, and adult education standards
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in adult learning, education, or curriculum development
  • 6+ years of experience in curriculum design and development
  • Certifications and/or degrees in education or instructional design
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Specialized knowledge or professional experience in instructional systems design, education, and adult learning principles
  • Experience working in all five phases of the Instructional Systems Design model
  • Excellent writing, proofreading, and design skills to develop training course materials
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Security Clearance:

Must be a U.S. citizen and possess or be able to obtain/maintain a SECRET clearance (A TOP SECRET clearance may be required)
