Medical Office Nurse Primary Care

We are seeking a skilled Medical Office RN to join our Primary Care team in Norwalk, CT. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our physicians and physician assistants in delivering exceptional medical services.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients for medical exams, obtain vital signs, and collect medical data.
- Provide direct patient care, including vaccinations, medications, and wound care.
- Collect and analyze patient specimens as directed by physicians or physician assistants.
- Instruct patients on preventive care, medication management, and test preparation.
- Communicate with patients via phone to provide follow-up care and relay physician instructions.
- Perform organizational responsibilities to achieve our practice's mission and quality improvement goals.
- Fulfill compliance responsibilities related to the position.
- Five years of job-related experience preferred.
- One year of supervisory experience required.
- Medical knowledge and terminology.
- Computer skills and data entry experience.
- Knowledge of insurance contracts and requirements.
- Associates Degree preferred.
- Previous medical office experience preferred.
Our Norwalk location offers a pleasant working environment with standard hours and a sedentary/light effort requirement.
